Question about Xpango affiliate scheme

I checked my stats for the affiliate scheme yesterday at 9pm and had a total of 116 leads and 1 sale totalling about £50 in credits. However when I checked it at 10:45pm 40 of the leads had been removed so now I only have about £35 of credits.

Has anybody else seen this happen to their accounts? Is this simply the 'verification' of the leads? I cannot see anything via the CJ control panel to explain why I suddenly lost 40 leads

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Ndev2k,

I can confirm that the reduction in leads is due to the verification. We only credit members with leads from the US, UK, CA and AU. If your referrals do complete an offer then you will be credited for the registration (0.40p) and the full sale amount.

If you would like a more detailed explanation then feel free to PM me.

Ross

Thanks for the explanation Ross. I am happy with this it was just that I had no way of knowing as the control panel on CJ didn't give any indication.

Yea I found this out last time too. It's the one thing that makes me think twice about it as I get quite a few international hits. But I think it's still worth it. I'm making about £2-4 a day just from the small banner on my site, compared to 1 credit in about 3 weeks on the normal Xpango link!

do you credit members who refer users who complete an offer and it's outside of US/UK/CA/AU ? You said only about leads, but what about offers? Do you only credit offer completion from countrys listed above? Thank you

Hello Vadim,

We initially credit members for leads in the 4 main residencies. (US, UK, AU and CA) If we see a sale (registration and offer completion) come through from outside the main residencies then we will also credit members for the registration (0.40p) and sale (£7.00).

If you need any more details then just let me know,

Ross

The answer to that is No. (I assume your question is "if an international sign up and completes an offer do you get the £7)

However, the last time I did this I was credited with 1 green to my normal account as there was either something that missed the verification or it was an international, I can't quite remember!

They do tend to sort you out pretty well though!

Reading this part of Ross' reply it would seem that you will be credited with £7.40 for any international member that completes an offer. However you will not get the 40p if they do not complete any offers.

changing my links over to xpango affil scheme has been a no brainer. conversions on fj and kudos are proper proper bad, never seen it this bad before. but am doing very well with the affiliate scheme. not sure if ill go back to promoting freebies now. just stick with affiliate links and thats it, at least you know your gonna get some kind of payout unlike waiting month and months for one bloody green on fj

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update to clarify 'locked' payments; this simply means that your payment is approved and won't be reversed. Once a payment is locked, it is then normally paid within 30 days.

Thanks

Sam

Hi Guys (and Girls),

If anyone needs help with how to promote their site then please feel free to contact one of the team. I've been checking the payments against the conversions and we've seen some good leads but the conversions are still quite low.

We have loads of offers and you can tailor them to your audience to boost the conversions. (Toluna, Gamehouse, Lovefilm etc)

If you need any examples or help then you can contact support or myself.

Ross
