i would expect it to be a minimum of 4 refs working on what fj and kudos do so that would be £34 if money works out the same aswell but since i dont know that much with xpango then it is only a guess

I think the "minimum 10 credits" wouldn't apply to custom orders. What if you want a Shuffle for a custom order? Then, surely, it won't take more than 3-4 credits. So, my answer is NO.

Hi Guys,

At present this does also apply to a custom order. We may change this in the future but for now the minimum is set at 10 credits.

Thanks

Sam

Guessing answers isn't usually the way to go. If you don't know, wait for someone who does to answer.

Thank Sam.
It could change as some people would like to go for the ipod shuffle but this way have to get it along with something else expensive enought to get to the 10 credits.

Uh, oh! Sorry people! @iFZ, I hadn't guessed it. It was logic. If 1 credit = say, £7, then, it would be senseless to get 10 credits = £70 for a Shuffle. But, it should have been this way.. Sam, could you please explain?

A business doesn't always have to go for the most logical route, they're a business and are trying to make money.
For example, FJ have a minimum of 2 refs for CO for most of their sub-sites, yet more for a couple of them. It's part of their business model. They make a loss from some offers so have a few rules here and there to be able to recoup losses.
If you wanted a 1 ref item you'd still need to use 2 refs (although, in fairness to FJ, you would be able to combine other items in the CO to try and top it up). Yet, we wouldn't call this senseless.

That's right. But I was just pondering over the example, so I didn't give a thought that they might be doing it to recover some past losses or so.

Hi Sufiyan,

We ask for a minimum of 10 credits for a custom order to ensure we keep within our cost margins, however we don't ask for 10 credits for say a shuffle. You could get at least 2 shuffles for this.

10 Credits will get you a gift having a value of around £90-100.

Hope that helps to explain.

Thanks

Sam
