Re: xpango - scam???

ive used xpango to get a 360 elite and a 3 game pack and whilst they were never as bad as this, I took to emailing them everyday. I then used to get a reply back within a week.

They have the potential to rival freebiejeebies due to you being able to refer and complete offers yourself, but they will never be able to compete until their customer service massively improves.

dont blame you tbh chewyz, they've got a responsibility to get you're item, it's not like they're doing you a favour, they're getting a cut from the referrals too.

The way Xpango behave was unacceptable when all other sites took months to deliver, however now it is ridiculous.. I have had 2 items from them, and still havea couple of credits, but I will wait before I carry on!!

IMHO xpango should be moved to the NON supported section.
they never come here unless they have something to promote support is **** and they are USA based.

exceems supported networks should be the home grown networks who DO support the members use the forums regular, in return they get more customers as people feel they are being looked after just like the two main networks here already do.

Hi Guys,

Just to provide an update to this thread, we do have a couple of members on this forum who are waiting for gifts, which we are currently processing.

We have been exceptionally busy with customer queries in recent weeks and are in the process or addressing this and catching up. As you can see from other member posts, gifts are going out, but if your based outside of the UK or US, it can take slightly longer at present.

For the record, we are based in the UK and are home grown!

The points above are very much noted, we are currently working on a number of new developments and improvements, which will be implemented later this year. We are aware that we haven't been as present on the forum recently and will try to ensure that we are a bit more active in the future.

Thanks

Sam - Xpango Customer Services

Not a good enough response -

Can you let me know the status of my order? I dont mind waiting for my gift, but I 've been waiting for almost two months, and you have not even confirmed my gift. Even my emails are not responded to...

Hey.
I think I've got a similar problem. When I had finally gotten the 18 credits I needed for an iPod classic, I emailed Xpango... No response. I mailed them a couple of times more and I even tried to PM Sam on this board, as it could seem like he's occasionally active on this site... However, still no response whatsoever. I had hoped I could get my gift before mother's day, but unfortunately it didn't turn out as anticipated. Frankly, I don't really mind waiting for my gift, it's the lack of response from Xpango that frustrates me. If only I could have some sort of confirmation or simply a humanly written: "We're working on it"; or "I'll have a look". With such an email in my inbox I could wait for months. But, as mentioned above, responding to emails is not Xpango's strongest side.
I hope someone from Xpango reads this. (My ref. ID:91553388)

Hi Guys,

bNeilson - I checked our records and can see that you were responded to in less than 24 hours and your order is currently being verified.

Joker189 - Please PM me and I will take a look.

Harvez - The members who occasionally complain here are very much in a minority in comparison to our entire member base. Have you ever actually used Xpango and our support system? If not then is there any need to keep flaming us?

I was simply asking a question. The member in question has made about 4 negative comments in this thread alone and whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, I was simply asking if they had tried Xpango for themselves, I don't see how that isn't a fair question?

The vast majority of our members are not members of exceem and I'm sure that if we did promote exceem to our members we would hear more from those that have received gifts and are more than happy with our service.

What often happens is we have a member who has qualified (see the couple of examples above) and then emails us about their gift whilst they are being verified.

Sometimes these members are based from outside the UK and their accounts require a greater level of verification checking. We do communicate this with them, but this isn't always a 5 min job, they Google 'Xpango' and end up here.

In the past yes, sometimes our service has been slower and critism is justified, other times we have had members of whom have tried to de-fraud our system and have posted here because they are angry we have banned them etc, which obviously they aren't going to be happy about.

We aren't as active on this forum simply due to the percentages I mentioned above, but when we get such a hostile response from some members, you can also understand why perhaps we wouldn't spend the time either as it seems to be some what of a losing battle.

Thanks

Well then why not step up and be more active and promote xpango more?
you don't want the complaints yet, you don't seem too enthusiastic to try make amends.

Hey Sam.
I noticed the response, and I have replied to your colleague, Richard Simmons, with the information he wanted.

Just out of curiosity, how long would such a verification process take?
