I feel sorry for poor Kaka, what a shocking display from the Ivory Coast player.

It was shockingly bad! what a crap call. the ref was crap tho tbh. when he missed that double hand ball before Brazils second goal, and then asked the player if he hand balled it!!!! was a crap game anyway ... i hate watching brazil. they spend half their time rolling about on the floor.

He shouldn't have been sent off at all, the other player should have for playing dirty. The whole team were playing dirty tbh, there should have been more yellow/red cards. The last 15 minutes was shocking.

Hardly fair on Kaka though. Rivaldo does a dive in 2002, half the team, excluding Kaka, overreact after every touch on them, then Kaka gets sent off for doing nothing.

crap game. bad luck on Kaka tho... he defiantly antagonized it tho. see him clapping in that lads face earlier on in the game. if someone did that to me i dnt think i would not try and **** them over...

N Korea game today tho. crap at football, but at least they play it how its supposed to be played. never really went down, clean game, no bitchin and played it until the end... they just need to learn how to play now

Am I the only one that thinks the red card was a good call? It's true that the Ivory Coast player (Keita was it) overreacted holding his face when he got hit in the chest but Kaka still barged him off the ball with his elbow whether it was in his face or not so deserved the second yellow in my opinion.

Believe it or not, there's a lot more to my arm than my elbow. You don't have to stick your elbow into someone's chest to fight for position, you've got a whole arm to do that.

And don't be a dick by putting words in my mouth, I'm not condoning the dive but you're clearly condoning a deliberate elbow.

I will ask this though: Would there have been so much fuss if the IC player went down holding his chest rather than his face? Doubt it. People are seeing the overreaction and just seeing the dive and not the clear as day elbow.

To be fair, I reckon the ref made the decision on the reaction of the IC player, if he saw him on the floor holding his chest, then the ref wouldn't have sent him off. Yes he got him with his elbow, but there was no force or intent behind it. The strange decision was to give a second yellow which means they can't appeal it, if it was 'violent conduct' then he should have been given a straight red.

If he did make the decision based on the reaction then that is wrong but it might have been the linesman who had seen it although he would have been on the half way line.
