Has it crossed your mind that it was deliberate?
A play on words kind of thing... the result was in fact a tie but it felt like a victory to the Yanks.

I gotta agree with that tbh.

Doesn't excuse the British thing though, that one is up there with calling someone Canadian an American.

Obviously British in this case is clearly wrong, but I don't get why people get all offended when they get called British. Guess what? You are British. You're nationality is English, but you're still British.

Personally it doesn't bother me whether I'm referred to as British or English.
As long as it's not Scottish or Welsh I'm cool with that!
