I think Capello will fully back him & play him next game. He's still the wisest choice of keeper, despite this unfortunate blunder.

I feel sad for the guy... Although I'd rather see Hart in goal, All the keepers are very good.

England have a history to maintain with blunders from keepers...

Steven Gerrard says, "The whole team is behind Rob Green."
In retrospect, that's a good place to stand.

Everyone makes mistakes and it would be harsh not to play him next match.

I'm sure it was just nerves anyway

Thing is, what are the alternatives? David james or Joe hart?

Having David james in goal would hardly inspire me knowing that he usually drops 1 or 2 serious clangers every game.

Joe Hart looks a good keeper but inexperienced and I'm not sure throwing him in at the deep end would be the right decision now.

Look at it in a positive way, england really shouldn't be troubled too much by Algeria and Slovenia so by then Green should have got his confidence back.

I put £6 on Green to start against Algeria @ 4/1 the day after the USA game. Those odds were around 4/7 yesterday and I can't find them at all ....

Sick Wikipedia... Anyway, I'm hearing James will be starting... On BBC Sport site they've got that written, but on the TV they just said "it looks like Green will be starting"
