What type of website?

Hi all,
I am currently building a site that will have a couple of different freebies on offer on there from a specific network.
Does anyone know if it is against copyright rules or any other rules of the networks to use their logos / name / domain name (with minor changes) ?

Also, for those with previous experience with different sites, have people had more success with sites aimed at specific freebies reflected by the domain they choose or with sites that display a collection of freebies and many referral links?

Any responses appreciated!
Thanks,
Rich

Plenty of people are already using all of the above so cannot see a problem for you, although to be sure you could always PM one of the owners of the networks on here. Name a network and we will tell you who owns it if you are unsure.

Success on websites depends directly on how much work you are going to put into it tbh.
It's all down to what you want to target.
There are people on here with niche specific domains that earn well, and also people that have general freebie sites that also earn good money.

There are also other people that own both types of site who earn next to nothing or nothing at all.

It's all down to your promotional methods and if you can get up there at the top of SERP's.

Some find it easy, some find it hard.

Good luck

LcLive has a spectacular aura about
There are a few FreebieJeebie replica sites floating around generating referrals with the logo's and stuff.. I can't see why it would be a problem as long as you make it known you're website ISN'T the actual FreebieJeebies website.

Yeah I have seen the FreebieJeebies replica type sites and was wondering if it was actually legit.

Contacting the owners of FreebieJeebies would be great just to clarify it with them before proceeding any further with any type of design.

I think the SEO side of it is most definitely going to be the biggest challenge, being a developer the implementation of the site and design (with a bit of luck) shouldnt be too much effort. My SEO skills are near to none though so I have quite a steep learning curve ahead i'm sure. Being the geek that I am though i'm quite looking forward to sussing it all out

If you have any of the freebiejeebies logos and if your site looks similar then you will need a disclaimer stating that your not FJ or operated by them.

The freebiejeebies 'copy' site ranks ABOVE freebiejeebies when you search google for 'freebiejeebies' lol.
I believe that's the person who just cashed out a thousand quid, coincidentally

Hardly a 'copy', Amy has original content and has worked hard to get there, she deserves top spot.
