  | Weebly?Any on here use it for hosting? Like a real domain, not a sub domain(.weebly.com). Should I get my domain hosted by Weebly? It's free. They host .com, .net, .org, plus more for free! Should I transfer from Webs.com to Weebly? Thanks

 | I wouldn't personally, have no experience with them but i can imagine them to be quite restrictive with what they allow.

 | it means point your website to there servers so the domain name is connected to the website you build so if you go to yourwebsite.com it will show the site you created on weebly. it doesn't redirct the website to yourwebsite.weebly.com or anything like that it just links the domain to the hosting.

| forever? as long as my domain is pointed to Weebly? Even after it expires on Webs.com? Cause I have a 2 year contract on Webs.com

| So why do you want to move away then? Do Webs not allow you to use your own domain name ? Are you buying it from Weebly and if you are ... Why? Why not just buy it from a real domain provider and use it with your paid webs hosting? I'm missing something here coz I just don't get it.

| Alright here it is: Webs sucks balls! I hate it. It's slow, laggy, and not enough features. So I stumbled upon Weebly and the features were amazing. I even made a site: getfreeiphones.weebly.com So Weebly says they host .com for free. I wanted to switch because then they could host my .com. And the features are amazing

| If you want your website hosted by Weebly you'd have to move all your files over to their hosting and point your nameservers (found in your registrar CP) to weebly's servers. Best if someone that uses Weebly clarifies the correct process as i'm not familiar with their procedures. Don't know if you would get a refund from Webs though, might have to write that off. Just because you have a 2 year contract with them it doesn't mean that you HAVE to stay with them, you can host with whoever you want.
