| I am ranked top on Google.com for 2 of my 3 keywords, and in the top 2 of Google.co.uk for 2 out of the 3. How? Well, I spent weeks and months learning about SEO. And I'm still learning. Not so long ago, I struggled to get higher than page 5. Getting a few backlinks isn't going to get you ranked either. You need to put the time and effort in. And also, new sites won't rank well. It will take time and patience. And you need a strategy. Pick some keywords you want to rank for, use Google keywords tool to research how much traffic you'll get, etc. It will pay off in the end, as some of the more successful peeps on here will testify to.

| Hmm sorry to burst your bubble, but Google stores your search terms and click throughs, and then shows you the websites that you go to most often first. For 'Free iPad' on (.co.uk) and (.com) , you're not showing on the first page.

| After Panda update rapid backlinking is very risky, for a safe solution use your targetted keyword and some other keywords also, Get links from a wide variety of sites aka link diversity, very essential.
