Social Media integration?

I am setting up a website that has a plugin to tweet, share, like etc a post - also facebook comments integrated - however there is also a system built in to the site to love a post without using any social networks - its like a voting system.

Which of these would you prefer to use?

Would you just use the inbuilt system or do you not mind sharing with your friends...

Surely it gives your website more publiscity to use the FaceBook/twitter style integration, which is why most people use it, and I think it serves the same purpose.

For your benefit I'd go for the former, I think people are quite happy to share links and stuff.
