Anyone else get a letter from Google asking them to carry on using Google AdWords? They send a code for £100 to use in advertising.

I thought google adwords vouchers only worked when you signed up, i didn't think you could add them to an already existing account?

Only ever used it once... Looong time ago when I used the free voucher they give when you open a new account.

The voucher code in the letter can be used in existing accounts.

Hope I get one soon. I have a new venture launching shortly as long as I can learn enough PHP to get the automation scripts edited how I want them.

This would come in handy for initial promotion.

A variation of ads. Be honest and appealing. Contact adwords and they'll help suggest things that'll help your ad get approved. They actually contacted me when my ad was denied. Plus I sent them to a dedicated page (http://www.love-free-gifts.co.uk/2011gadgets/)

Meh , just got one through my hostgator hosting but unfortunately its US and Canada only. If this doesn't change in a few weeks I'll probably give them out on here. Also got yahoo and bing ones I think!

That's a different coupon, the one you have is a standard coupon for use with new accounts where the coupons mentioned on here are sent out to older inactive accounts to give people a kickstart back into advertising with Google hoping that you will see the benefit and keep on using them.

Because you have to wait 3 months to get paid from the advertisers and with all the household bills, 4 kids and a wench to keep happy I just didn't have the spare cash to fund the adwords account until I got paid from them...

When I have plenty of disposable income then i'll reconsider

Any clues as to how we could also turn that £100 into $400 (basically make some money using that voucher)? Freebies isn't going too well (actually, it's not "going" at all) - Have done a bit of affiliate work before, but only very little.

At the moment, I've activated the ad I had from a few years back, pointing to my Freebie site.

Find an affiliate product you want to promote, make a website and use the adwords voucher to push visitors to your website.
If people buy the product through your site you earn, simple as
