It's the best way to do it. I taught myself html over a period of time and like to think I'm fairly good now! It really is the only way to take complete control of your site.

I'm still learning, so about 3 years! But when I started it took about 6months to get a decent website up and running.

It also helped me change my career path from Accountancy to WebDev, to IT and now I work in IT Security! All thanks to finding eXceem!

Pretty bad, but it improved. I've probably done 10s of site redesigns! I mainly take a good template and edit it as much as I can these days. At least i know what I'm doing when I open the source though.

Even if you don't build a site in HTML it's a good skill to have.

Otherwise try wordpress

Maybe try MUSE by adobe, it's currently free while it's in beta. Meant to be a powerful program for building websites without knowledge of coding, haven't tried myself as of yet.

Is it possible you could make me an Apple styled template for the website? I will start learning HTML and use dreamweaver so is it possible you could make me a blank apple styled website template? I will try to give you credit like by putting you in a section like Friends to Us

GIMP isn't a web editor though. It's a good image editor.

If you want something online to edit your images, use something like picnik.
