 | Purchasing backlinks? Please discuss!Hello again everyone, I have created my website now and I need to promote it. However I'm no expert so I'm thinking, there must be a list of things I need to do to get my site ranked by Google? If so what is the paramount thing I should be doing first. I see a lot of info on here about things to do but I'm worried that I may do things in the wrong order, seems pretty easy to get it wrong and get the site sandboxed. I've spotted (on a certain online auction site, who will remain nameless) that you can buy PR9 backlinks which will stay active for a year and was wondering if this could be an option? Or shall I steer clear? They reackon that they are created using actual people, not bots and that they are whitehat. What are peoples thoughts? Thanks in advance |

| If your website is new i would leave it!! you could end up getting your website sandbox (i know a few exceem memebers have had this happen). your best bet is too get the banklinks yourself (join forums that match your site)!! be very carful when buying backlinks  hope this helps a little

| I really doubt that you'd be able to purchase a PR9 link. I mean, there's only a handful of website that are of PR9. Such as YouTube or Wikipedia. Heck, even high authority websites such as Ebay, Paypal are not PR9. And even if you did, that'd cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars (I'm not kidding). Since one link of that kind would get you to #1 on Google for most of highly competitve keywords. So, before you spend your money on anything, do your research and ask for examples and proof because in this business there are a lot of people who promise, and never deliver. |
