 | Website Mk2 launchinghi all i'm going to be launching my new website in a couple of days and i'm just checking out which domains names are available. Any thoughts on the best suffix i.e .com or .co.uk. etc..does it make a difference to search engine position? what if anything is wrong with being tight and having .ru or similar. thoughts please  cheers triggs |

| .co.uk is best for targetting the UK, however you can set your geographic target in google webmaster tools if you want a .com to target the uk. |

| xploit not true, depends what region your targeting, if your after targeting the whole web, .com, .net, .info are just fine, if your after targeting russian google, then you should go with .ru then again your website is going to be in russian so it wont change or add value to your US or UK rankings |
