i need help installing wordpress

hi, im trying to install wordpress, on 000webhost, because the one click installer thing doesnt work

i have made the mysql database, put the info in the file i was suppost to, then i uploaded it, but when i got to the wp-admin/install.php it sends me back to 000webhost

im not sure if anyone will be able to help with this, but i cant seem to do it.

how are you trying to have the site set up? As a completely wordpress ran site or just a normal html website with a blog attached?

Could you post screenies of your main directory in your file manager?

Looks like you have a database problem now. Double check your configuration file.

i have just found a possible cause, the hostname was set to local host, i should have changed that

if that still doesnt work ill be back

That's you up and running now.

Make sure you delete the installation file and change your passwords once you've done it

up and running now? it still seems to send me back to 000webhot page if i try to go on wp-admin/install

i dont know what else can be wrong?

and it is a completley wordpress site

your username will be admin

the password will be a random generated one that they show you after it's installed.

when uploading a theme i get the error

Unable to create directory /home/a9751238/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

any ideas what im doing wrong??

You'll need to change your file permissions on the directory.

i am looking at the directory thing, i do not see an option like this, i can creat folders in their, on the file manager thing, does this mean it isnt locked?

i have changed the settings thing and that worked, but now it is saying

Download failed. malformed

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
realy annoying !!!!!!!!
