My Google position

Hi folks. I've been doing some work recently to try and improve the rank of my site. Checked this morning and it's gone from No5 to No1 for 'free ipod touch'.

Can others check to see as it's probably not accurate.

The site is freeipodtouch.org.uk.

I still see you at number 5 on .co.uk. Check you are not signed into your account or you are using any search customizations

Already checked that. I'm looking at the .co.uk. For some reason when I type in google.com it changes to .co.uk.

You have to go to the google homepage and click on Go To Google.com at the bottom.

Can you post a screenshot?

Ah ok, never notcied that before. I always use the search box in Firefox. Having done that, I'm on page 2 of .com

Showing as No1 for .co.uk though.

At the top right of the screen there is a link for 'View Customizations'. If you click on this you will see that google is propelling results based on recent history. You need to turn this off.

I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago.
