So SEO is built up from backlinks, correct?

How do I get these backlinks?

Backlinks are definitely a big part of SEO.

Backlinks can be gotten from Articles, blog commenting, link exchanges. The ones in your sig are Backlinks. Change the title from 'Website' to the term you want to rank for and you will begin to get backlinks for that term

Posting on blogs is a good start. Make sure you have your site in the website box
