I've used 000webhost for about 6 months, very happy. My site's only been down once and it was back in around an hour.
Can't recommend them enough

If you want to run a proper site that going to last though I would recomend paid hosting.

I used 000webhost for a while at first, and whenever I have a new site I'm testing. But it does have it's problems now and then and there can be downtime which can cost.

Maybe good for a first site though.

Thanks . Might start it as a free one and then sort out the hosting later.

free hosting is like free hosting, not as secure, not as fast and not as reliable because it's free.

I started with 000webhost about 2 years ago and thought it was pretty good. I soon went onto paid but have done work for people using 000webhost and i immediately noticed the difference :P I got used to the speed of paid hosting and the reliability, it used to really annoy me when the ftp would log me off on 000webhost fairly regularly.

By all means start with them, but as your site starts to grow your gonna want to look into paid options.

webdude is an unknown quantity at this point
I highly recommend using HostGator (one of their shared hosting plans). They're cheap, reliable, you can host as many domains as you want, and they offer great support.

I use 000webhost for a few sites. I've not notcied any problems with them, but once I have established a site, I use meirhosting to host them.
