Permission for pictures

Hi. I'm going to be starting a website soon (probably sometime next week). I plan on using blogger just to get used to SEO and all that jazz until I buy a real domain. I had a few questions:
Where do I ask users for proof pictures? There is a topic in the I got my free item thread but no one posts pics there. So should I just make a thread and ask?
Second, if I use the proof pictures from freebiejeebies.co.uk proof page and the images for the companies (e.g Intuit logo), do I need to ask for permission from freebies and the companies? I'm assuming no but it can't hurt to ask
And lastly, once you purchase a domain, is it usually available immediately for you to use? I'm thinking of godaddy in particular. Thanks.

I'm not sure where it is, I'll find the link, but there is a thread where people post pics they don't mind people using.

About the logos, I should think you would have to ask the companies individually.

Thanks for the quick response. And just to be clear, I'm not asking anybody for pics now, just wanted to know for future reference.

Domain can take upto 48 hours depending on who you are with etc, but it's never been even 24 hours for me. It will also depend whether you are hosting with the same company or a different company to the one you are registering your domain with.

So many more knowledgable members of exceem have the company logos on their website, so I would either wait for a better answer, or just go ahead and use them.
