Google - what a strange beast

I made my new website around the end of may and worked hard on the seo side of things for the next few weeks. I then noticed that my site had been dumped from google for all my keywords yet was still indexed. I figured it was just the new sites sandboxy type thing and ignored it.

I checked again last night and was pretty happy to see that after two weeks my site is back on google ranking for keywords and is now on page 1 for free playstation 3.

Also noticed the site is up to PR2.

Google does certainly work in mysterious ways doesn't it?!

Google can bring much success, as can be seen by furbs and his massive freebie haul. however trying to tame the beast is another thing, I havnt worked on SEO in a good 6-8 months and ive seen more results now than ever before.

For ages I was #1 for 'Free Gadget' and it suddenly dropped off the radar completely but like yours was still indexed.
Just reading this thread made me look for the first time in maybe a week and there it is, back at the coveted #1 spot again.
