I cam across this document today and thought I would share it with those who are starting out in SEO, it is really clear on what should be done to kick start a successful SEO campaign.

Nice one, should come in useful - although it was written last year so their algorithms might have changed since then.

Right now Google is still going through a mental stage, they supposedly launched a new update to Google called "Caffeine" which seems to be causing a lot of webmasters issues.
