Blog commenting for backlinks. How To:

ok this is another short guide explaining how to find blogs related to your site ready for you to post comments on, then leave your site link too in the comment.

first we will want to goto Google Blog Search

then we will type some keywords to find some blogs to comment on.

basically what we do is type keywords related to your site in question. so if its psp or wii related. we would then search for "nintendo wii" or "sony psp" etc and then press enter.

now you will be shown a list of results of blogs with them keywords in. now all you do is go over to the blogs and comment on them. then leave your link there too. either in the name and url field or underneath your actual comment.

rinse and repeat and watch your backlinks grow

thats entirely upto you. i mean yeh no folow blogs are not good for backlinks as being no follow etc. but they still can bring you traffic from your links. so its upto you lol i normally post on do follow and no follow blogs.

Also, Yahoo doesn't care if it's DoFollow or NoFollow, they count it as a backlink either way.

To tell if it's a nofollow blog, when you're on the blog page press Ctrl + U and you will see the html script appear. Press Ctrl + F and search "nofollow" if the search find "nofollow" then it's a nofollow blog.

or if you use firefox there is a plugin that highlights links in red for nofollow and blue if they are dofollow... its called NoDoFollow if you wanna look

SEO4Firefox or SeoQuake are a couple of other useful plugins that give you all sorts of information, including whether links are Do/No Follow.

I would personally be careful about:

1. The anchor text that you use in the name field of comments. A lot of Webmasters prefer real names rather than "Free blah blah". Take a look at what others have used and gauge what might be acceptable.

2. Leaving links in the body of a comment. Again, it varies from blog to blog but the risk is it will be marked as spam.

Get it wrong and you may get caught by Akisment.

I apparently have... ... ... 4 backlinks!!! Accounding to Goodle... which is definately wrong because they are ALL eXceem, old treads, and I know I've spread my site out in loadsa places!! How can I check better than the site I linked about??!

i have some questions.

Does it matter how many backlinks you have on a blog or a forum, is having one enuff?
Do people have to click on the links for them to count?
