Very useful, however in most blogs you can't use anchor text with a link to my site. Is just entering my website name enough?

Just be careful using "Free..", that certainly increases the risk of being caught by Akismet.

I believe its program that detects if a comment if spam then deletes it and blocks you if it is.

I use do-follow/no-follow checker tool for check the do-follow/no-follow websites, blogs, articles.. links. I search do-follow blog list in Google and Google provide me a huge list of do-follow blog list.

another thing. i see alot of talk about akismet. you dont need to concentrate on wordpress blogs. there are others too. also guestbook commenting works. profile comments and so on

Blog commenting has fallen out of favour with Google. It'll only help if you can comment on posts with a very small number of other comments.
