My 2 Entries [cos i guess its time to take the plunge]
ONE
This is my main entry. Basically the idea was to make a video which focused on the nervousness of completing your first offer. its kinda like looking into the big dark woods, and not really knowing or understanding whats out there, a slight feeling of skepticism and all that sorta stuff ...
also, note how everything is black and white, APART from FreebieJeebies name, and exceem's name. This was done to further emphasis FJ and eXceem.
hopefully you get a feeling of tension and all that sorta thing, kinda like taking a plunge into the unknown! lol

Hey there, seems it uploaded fine after all and has even had a few views too!
Just a few notes on my entry first though...
It's an animation i had to do on my mate's computer in any spare time he had so i ended up having to rush out a few bits, it was basically going to have added sound effects, motion effects to make it look like they're walking and their eyes were going to move around rather than jump around.
The version that's here now is the final version in terms of voting for the competition but I'm still gonna make improvements anyway for the sake of any Exceem members (including me!) that may want to use this video anyway for their own ends regardless of whether it wins anything.
If you do wish to use this video on your websites etc then please wait a bit for the final final version to be finished, i'll then post a message in the extra bar or website design review pages with relevant links to the finished piece.
The music is copyrighted but it's being used as 'placeholder' music just for this competition, a friend of mine is currently making a 'copycat' piece ever so slightly different but with the same timings and mood etc to avoid any legality issues. (The challenge is returned to Eonbar to name that track too!)
Last but definately not least you may notice I have not mentioned Exceem in this video - This was done for several reasons:
1. I took the rules of the competition very literally about including "other website addresses" etc and
2. I wanted the advertisement to be as tight and to the point about FreebieJeebies as possible.
This is staying this way purely for the time being for the competition but i will be adding an Exceem mention when i make the final version to be added to user's websites as mentioned above.
Ok first i'll list the megaupload pages where you can download various podcast versions [please let me know if they don't work properly and i can try to do them again], then lastly i'll post the youtube link, thanks and hope you enjoy!
Hi Jon, just realised i forgot to add the 16x9 version in MP4 - can you please edit my post above and paste the following in underneath the link for the 16x9 h.264 one please? Also i put the wrong version up for the 4x3 mp4 so can you change that link to the one below too?

Also the MP4's have slightly bigger file sizes (largest file is only 10mb anyway though!),
does anyone know if that means better quality than the h.264 or is the h.264 just a really good compressor? Cheers!
(The weird thing is the 4x3 h.264 is almost double the filesize of the 16x9 h.264, but the mp4s are about the same filesize as each other. go figure?

MY ENTRY
OK, I know its 40 minutes late, but hopefully you nice admins can look past that (I have been working on it solidly all day, but was let down at the last minute by technology, hence the poor quality in some places) I really hope its not too much of an issue, but if it is its not the end of the world I guess.
I used stop-motion imagery to show how the free stuff really does just come to you, and how the ipod was free to 'dance' about on the floor once it had been tidied.
I hope you like it, and that it counts for something!

Holy crap there is some wicked video's there !! thought they wud all be rubbish, but damn nice vids !! had to go for Mac Attack though, was close VERY close!!

OH MY GOD 22 EACH!!! What happens now Jon? I guess you double check the votes and then see. If it's still a tie who decides? Do Richard and Alex take the executive decision on this?

Indeed Blokman well done! You've made me incredibly nervous this past week, just have to wait and see i guess what Jon says. It's a shame we have to knock each other out in this heat really, if only one of us had done a different network, it could have all been so different...
