I should of though both the Video poster and voter's should be kept anonymous, but then yu have to post your link and host it on youtube...

Would like to see anonymous voting though.

I should be able to host videos - all voting will be done via a poll and the only people who can tell whos voted will be me (and miles and trev to)

If entrants want me to host pm me and ill setup a ftp space for you to upload though, though if you do want me to host i would prefer 2 copies - one to be viewed on a pc (hopefully divxed or some other compression) and one to be in a video podcast format - will post the specs for that when I can find them

yeah i'm up for you hosting some if they'll look better than youtube! I was planning on putting it on youtube as a 'preview' quality but also providing a link to mega-upload or something to download a better quality quicktime, or even a video_ts dvd folder which could be opened in any dvd player program. would be a relatively small file as it's only 30 secs long.

Could you post those podcast specs soon though please as i'm gonna be compressing all my copies this weekend as won't be able to upload them much later,

i'll give that a go but looking at it it seems ipod and podcasts only work at 30fps video, seeing as i've made a 25fps animation that may stretch it out too much and make it look like a dog shat it out so i'll do the megaupload thing and youtube as well to back it up. if the podcast version looks too rubbish i'll just not use it, someone else with a video ipod / iphone will have to test that for me though!

i think mine was 30fps or above, but in mpg format.

i'm sure they are alright on youtube, just not as good as the raw.

I would guess that 25fps should play fine, anythign fater than 30fps wouldnt - but you can only try to find out
