Default ones on WMP, although they may have been edited by a DIVX -> DVD converter I've got installed.

With Quicktime the only codecs I've touched are the DIVX ones..

As you may have guessed (for those who have seen it), I didn't put too much effort in to it

... I just used Photo DVD Creator... so it's whatever that defaults to..

no - but knowing the codec would help you as you would then know what you need to download to view it

Have you got any dvd playing software on your mac? if so.. use that and do an "open file".. instead of open dvd...

Otherwise.. try loading the .vob with the biggest file size in to quicktime/any player you have!

I appreciate you going to all the effort... but honestly.. it's really not worth it

Trying to learn Adobe After Effects for my submission - That software is HARD.

Also, are we allowed to enter more than one video? For example, one for each network?

How much information needs to be included? Is it just a short promo (like a quick TV advert), or something with more detail that explains the process?

i noticed in "Dave H's" video, not that it was completely serious, but there was no individual network supported there, as the first second and third place for each network has a first second and third, are universal videos with all 3 links in discarded in this situation?

I think so.. I'm pretty sure Jon put somewhere in his post that each entry has to be about a single network.

However I knew mine would be something 'special' and so decided to include everyone

aight guys...
iv been having a couple ideas, but was wording what things you lot have got going? basically iv made a couple of adverts, but i duno if i've got the wrong idea or what?

I was thinking about making a proof video, but to be honest if people think its a scam even with photo evidence, then a proof video isnt going to work.

...also, im sure theres gonna be some people making a "All you need to do is register with FJ, complete an offer ... yahhda yahhda yaahhhda" ...but again i guess loads of people are going to be doing this.

so whats your video aimed at? advert ... proof video ... guide to the sites/ rough guide to freebies etc...

I would enter if I had the time, but u must realise a large amount of exceemers will be in exam period (uni students and secondary school/college mainly) and wont be able to make these videos or spend real time on the competition until after May.

Would you consider ending the competition at the end of May perhaps? Im sure there will be shed loads of entries then...

Yeh couldn't agree with that more. I'm in the library at the mo tryint to smash out my essay and after this I'll have exams to revise for. Really wanted to learn how to edit videos and submit an entry but currently it's not looking good
