The Super Bowl

Anyone else think it was the most incredible game of American Football ever? Anybody else cringe at the BBC's very English coverage of it?!

As a New York Giants fan, I have to say that this game was up there with some of the greatest sporting matches of all time.

The game seemed like it was scripted almost as a fairytale, with the most significant upset in modern sports being completed in entertaining fashion! Oh and it was the Super Bowl btw, the biggest sports final in the world (ok, second to the World Cup!)

Anyone agree? Please?!

American Football

My dad used to play for Leicester, and capped 3 times for Great Britain.

Re: The Super Bowl

I love it. Well the game, not the adverts associated with it. I'm not a fan of any team really, i guess i'd like to support one, but i just enjoy watching it. Its the only american sport i can handle.

I naturally support the Rams... cos I also support Derby (The Rams) so thought it'd be cool!

I supported the NY Giants at the superbowl but that was because they were underdogs and also i didnt want the Patriots to get their milestone!

I was the same although stupidly I didn't stay up to watch it. Did last year and it sucked, didn't this year and it was excellent. Still managed to see it though and it was a great game.

Re: The Super Bowl

Martin Johnson was actually pretty knowledgable, he played American Football professionally for Leicester for a while before going into Rugby.

Madden on the Wii is great fun, even though its FULL of irritating bugs.
