 | External Hard Drive for a Laptop...I'm not particularly happy with the hammering my laptop hard-drive gets from me downloading music constantly, so I'm thinking of getting a small-ish external drive (around 80gigs maybe) to keep the music on. I've got a question though, presumably the external drive connects to the laptop through a USB drive, so would I be able to download directly onto the external drive? Or would I still have to download onto the laptop, and then transfer to external, making the whole exercise a bit pointless. Any ideas? Cheers. |

| Re: External Hard Drive for a Laptop...i'm quite sure you can download to the external as if you select save to, you can browse "my computer" and the drive should show there.
