DS Wifi Online thing

Can anyone explain how it works and what you need? Is it free?

its free my man. and in selected places in cities its free

if you have wifi at home you basically connect to it the same as you usually would, if you dont but have broadband on a pc, you can connect via that by buying a wifi max usb stick.

there is no service charges and no login or anything like that, you just select you nickname in game

sounds pretty cool. this may be a stupid question but what if i don't have a PC? How does it work with "wifi hotspots"

I think Itboxes in pubs have WIFI but i'm unsure if you can use it or if it even works?

I think its like a wireless laptop! I know alot of Mcdonalds have wifi in thir "restaurants", all you have to do is search for a hotspot and if you find one you can play through that hot spot, having wifi at home is only a big bonus cause that way you can play at home aswell as everywere else!

not unless it is unsecured, the ones in macdonalds are free for ds, so its ok, but like my home one is secure so you need to know the password

My macdonalds is WEP protected and if one is not protected is just does not connect, i think you need to go in and pay for like 1 hours worth of surf time or something.
