![]() | Easy CapOk guys , I'm planning on buy one of these (Easycap USB 2.0 Video TV DVD VHS Audio Capture Adapter-Supports Both PAL & NTSC Formats (Include Professional and easy to learn & used video editor software: Ulead Video Studio 8.0 SE DVD): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories) for various reasons like recording my ps3 and putting videos onto disks. I'm just wondering how it works and if I need anything else. Is it as simple as (excuse all my technical terms here) plugging the coloured wires into this adaptor : ![]() then plugging the USB into my laptop , go into the software on the disk and recording? Edit : Has anyone ever had one of these because the reviews are quite mixed?

![]() | I haven't had any experience with an EazyCAP but I heard that the end quality was poor. My brother has a Dazzle DVC100 though and they're quite good. It's around 80 pounds in Curries.

![]() | I've never seen anything with so mixed reviews! The videos have awesome quality on youtube but the amazon comments are strange. Some people say it doesn't work with Windows 7 , others say it does.

![]() | Okay , looked at some tutorials and they say you need some of these y splitters :http://www.amazon.co.uk/Splitter-RCA...1434160&sr=1-2. Now , are these required or do all the tutorials suggest them because their tv's don't have enough space to allow 2 of them things in the first post to go in.

![]() | Basically the back of my tv has 2 of them adaptor ports. Does that help? Just to simplify it I'm more or less saying can I do what I said in my first post and are these tutorials done on tv's with only 1 adaptor port of is it required like that?

![]() | According to EzCAP 116 USB 2.0 video capture. Supersedes EzCAP DC60+. World wide delivery. the company have changed their name to ezcap and any easy cap you see now are fakes from China. Edit : Apparently the fakes don't support 60 PAL either which is a bit bad.

| iPod Nano 4GB | I have any EasyCap. It's terrible. There are people out there are selling fake easycaps but not on Amazon. So apperently I got a fake one and it's terrible quality. Video quality is alright and audio is not good at all. The real one will be a bit better but still not good. I recommend a hauppage HD PVR. It's around $200 but it's way worth it. Dazzle is also very good.
