really buggered up wordpress

exceem members, i've really buggered up WP somehow.

Background:

iMoose had wordpress in /blog HOSTED ON one.com
made a site for Dad called SMAM - Student Money and Me HOSTED ON 1&1
THINK i tired to initially make it on iMoose.co.uk/blog and transfer it, but ultimately i think i bummed it up and just did it on SMAM
however, my WP 'username' eonbar was used in the making of SMAM (somehow :S)

what i did:

kinda finished SMAM and wanted to make iMoose from the ground up with a different way to make conversions and stuff.
wanted WP to be in the Root and function for the whole site.
saved the old iMoose site and then deleted off my server.
uploaded a freshly unzipped WP to my root on imoose.
NOW, when i try to go to the imoose WordPress Installation it says "You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first."
and when you go to iMoose it has stuff about SMAM ??!?!

what do i do? im not sure? have i been saving the SMAM site to my iMoose Database on one.com? how do i preserve Dads site, but start iMoose from scratch? i literally have no idea so can't even Google an answer?

thanks exceem!

P>S> and when you go to the login button at the bottom of iMoose it takes you to smam.com/wp-login.php ..weird? :S
P>P>S i've deleted myself as an admin of my dads SMAM site (but can still access it as i know his admin Pass word)

It sounds like you have simply created a database on one.com when you were trying to build the SMAM site behind iMoose.

Check the SMAM wp-config.php file and ensure it is linking to a locally hosted SQL database.

If it is then you can safely remove the one.com database. Alternatively if your iMoose hosting has cpanel with softaculous or fantastico simply use this to install wordpress and it will create a new database for you as long as you can have more than one database on your hosting

i thought something like this was the case but am unsure how to do it. plus, i dont have my dads FTP username and PW to check the wp-config.php bugger.

anywhoo, if it IS on one.com, which i think it must be, do i just need to go about transferring databases?

last thing. i've just whipped everything from my one.com server via cyberduck FTP (after making a backup of course) so how is still possible to see SMAM? or are databases not accessed that way?

the internet is bloody confusing sometimes....

EDIT: SENT YOU a pm
