Headphone Help!!

Hello eXceemers!

Need some help with headphones...

I need a pair with super-excellent base. I could do with both headphones or earphones. I need to get 'em for 2 greens, so it could be anything below 40 pounds... Any suggestions?

I quite liked these:

Skullcandy Hesh | iheadphones

Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour High Resolution In-Ear: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Skullcandy GI Headphones - Black Print: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

JVC HA-S4X | iheadphones

Skullcandy Lowrider Headphones with Mic - Black: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Or, should I keep an eye on this one if it's price goes low:

Skullcandy Skullcrushers SC-SCB Bass Vibration: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Sorry for all that mess above, but I really am in search of one.. Will +rep the person who helps me out the most! And yeah, if you have any other suggestion for something under 40 pounds, I'll be happy to have a look!

The Dr.Dre beta you found are fake, you can pick up a pair of fake beats for less than £10, the real beats are around £80+. Skullcandy are known for looks and bass so if that's what you looking for then that may be a option. Although skullcandy are cheap and are more prone to breaking that others, it depends how you treat your headphones, they personally wouldn't last two minutes with me.

Never heard of the JVC so i can't comment on that.

Bought these a month or two ago - Philips SHE9000/10 In-Ear Headphones - Black: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Bass is very good, treble however is quite weak, but for the price they are awesome!

Djoscar, would do you normally use them on? Try turning the treble booster on if you play on a ipod or something.

i have the dr dre beats, got 'em for £20 on ebay and the quality is pretty good, bit better than my ipod ones not much, but the noise cancelation is really good.
thinking of getting the lowriders myself when i get enough greens.
if you can get them for £20 or less id definatly recomend the dr dre ones

Meh, i had a pair of fake dr dre beats, they were awful, the b on the side rubs off, the connection between the jack and splitter was awful you could see the poor glueing around the edges. The headphone part itself, came apart, i had to glue it back in place for each headphone. The cables are flat, that is probably the only good part of it. I would steer clear personally, cheap and fragile, if you are to get them, get the real ones, 100% better.

fair enough but you'd be paying at least £100+ for real ones that could just as easily break. i think the skullcrusher ones are nice too.

Well yes but you get what your pair for, i have a pair of monster turbine headphones now, they are the best i have got, crisp sounds (maybe not the most bass heavy) and durable, i also like right angle headphones jack too, avoid the bumps you may get.

Also a thing to bear in mind is that a gold plated jack is meant to be better, it is meant to give better connectivity.

Just DON'T get skullcandy, they're terrible.

I have some aerial 7 tanks and they're superb, but I believe they would be in the 3 green range.

According to me, Sony MDR V6 are the Best headphones ever. Seriously i was blown by its sound. I seriously recommend you these headphones. Dont go for XBs (500, 700) .. However V6 dont look cool and they are very 80s (actually Sony first came up with these in 1980s) .. I also bought Sennheisers HD 280 Pro, Phillips and skullcandy but i always liked Sony V6. They are Best headphones in my opinion with awesome bass and balanced mid and highs.

Hmm.. Thanks for the suggestions, but I strictly want to get one in the 2-green limit... The one I'm favouring the most right now is SkullCandy GI... Am I making the right decision, or should I get looking for some others?

@Ollie: Yeah, I know, but Tanks don't even come in the 3-green area.. They're some 90 pounds...

@Blu-krystal: Sony... I don't really know if it's worth it, but I've never really heard of Sony when it comes to Headphones...

Klipsch Image S4 Enhanced Bass Dynamic In-Ear: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Klipsch make the best in-ear headphones... 3 greens but they're worth it, sound quality is amazing!

If you haven't heard of Klipsch google the headphones for some reviews, the S4 headphones are the best you can buy in that price range!

Well I'm about to order some Wireless Panasonic headphones: http://goo.gl/hvY57

Gonna see how they are, if they're not that good I might send them back and get some Sennheiser ones... They really are the best quality headphones you can get! (RS 180 = NICE!)

... Trust me mate try Sony headphones atleast once in your life. Buy Sony MDR V6 and i bet you will love it. Even if you go with some other headphones, remember this model and try it atleast once in future.

Just check this Amazon listing and see all the reviews - Amazon.com: Sony MDR-V6 Monitor Series Headphones with CCAW Voice Coil: Electronics

You look at the Sennheiser CX 300 II? They are really good for the price, well worth a look!

Play.com - Buy Sennheiser CX 300 Mark II Precision Headphones (White) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe!

They have it in black also, i used to have a pir of these and can't fault them for the money!

Umm... I know it isn't even a huge freebie or anything, but still, I'd prefer to follow MJ10's method.... More opinions? I've decided on the following final specs:

1: Should be headphones, not ear-buds.
2: Good base.
3: Portable, as in, comfortable while traveling.
4: Eye candy matters.

@Blu-krystal: Your suggestion is good, many nice reviews; but it doesn't have the eye candy that you can use to show-off...

Last one I'm thinking of getting is Skullcandy Skullcrushers.. Got myself a demo by one of my friends, and wow! The bass did really crush my skull! I'm still alive...

Like i said previously, the skullcandys are known for bass and looks, although they are known to be fragile, so by all means go for them but be careful with the way you treat them.

That is not sold directly from Play.com, so they could be fake. There are fakes around on play, i bought my fake beats from play.
