The board would need updating to the latest version for this plugin to work, and I think exceem is running v3.**

Does the update require any kind of deletion of the threads on the forum or anything? Plus, will it cost to update? If not, then I think it would be cool to see eXceem with new features! Sorry if that sounds like a noob, but I don't know if the update should cost anything or not.

The latest updates have tonns of great features, as for cost it should be a free as long as the license is up to date.
It's not just a simple download and run the update as some tweaks may have to be made depending what version your upgrading from.
A huge forum I'm on with well over 100,000 members has just upgraded and most of the features have yet to be tweaked as there is so much to sort out.

I can provide an IT consultant to come and set it all up for you? Afraid we couldn't do much less than £1,200 a day though

vB 3 -> 4 is generally a pretty easy conversion... The majority of all the vB3 plug ins have been upgraded to work with vB4 now. Definitely worth looking into it in my opinion. (you'd just have to rewrite the skins)
