I know I'm mad to quote my own post, but I got my Android bricked. Damn Clockwork Flashing and damn the ROM. Learned a lesson. Don't mess around with things you shouldn't be messing with. I know rooted phones can't claim warranty, but I've got a super-cool reason to claim it! Hope that works....

What did you do? I just installed the devoid custom ROM plus franco.kernel and it worked fine, getting 50+ fps on games.

Mate, I have a phone which is just launched recently in March. I flashed the Clockwork for the Wrong Phone! But, now, no problem as I claimed my warranty with a simple lie!

Oh, OK. Congrats, lol.

Also I have another question - if I wanted switch SD cards (since right now I'm using the crappy 2GB one that came with the phone), how would I transfer everything? Also would I have to create another ext partition (what is that partition for anyway)?

Thanks.

Even I wanna change my SD card. I'm using the same 2GB one. If you had transferred the built-in apps like Camera and Contacts and stuff, then you probably can't change your SD.

The partition is mainly for the ROM installed.

I just found out that I don't need an ext partition, so do I just need to copy all the files in the old SD card to the new card?

Yeah. But your applications which you had installed on your SD won't work simply by copying them. (If I'm not wrong)

So, it means that you can only copy your media files like Music, Videos and stuff.

Apps do work when you transfer on SD Card. I have some of my apps on the sd card.

I know they work, but I don't think they'll work on a new SD card. Maybe, it'll work if you do this:
1 - You switch the phone off, remove your SD.
2 - Use a Card Reader and copy everything from the SD. Copy the contents to your new SD.
3 - Put the SD back in the phone
4 - Then only, boot the phone back.

I hope this'll work... Not really sure though, Ojaser.
