iPhone 4 jailbreak for 4.2.1?

I know there are a few threads about this subject but I feel my situation is a little different. I have just received my replacement iPhone 4 from Apple care and it is running the 4.2.1 software with a 03.10.01 baseband.
The phone was locked to o2 when I got it back which my old one was. I need to run it on Vodafone for work so I contacted o2 (my other contract provider) to see if I could get it unlocked, I am going to be chopping and changing sims between phones. They officially unlocked it for me for FREE. I just had to wait a few days for it to happen but now I have received the confirmation message and synced with iTunes this morning!! How good is that!??
Now.... the problem. Now I have an officially unlocked iPhone 4 I want to jailbreak it. I have found a few things on the net about there being no jailbreak for this software and baseband which I hope is untrue and hopfully someone has some info on this.
Also I would like to know if I will lose my official unlock if I do jailbreak (if there is one available to me)

How stable is the JB though? I want to JB my iPhone 4 but worried it'll crash etc, and don't want to void my apple warranty if it doesn't work properly like I've heard from some people!

Heard this on Engadget earlier today but they hadn't tested it yet.

Search DinoZambas2 on YouTube and watch a few of his latest videos. There's Tethered and Untethered JailBreaks. I think Macs can do Untethered JailBreaks for the iPhone 4 as of yet, but I haven't been checking regularly lately...

Ah right cheers for that! Jjust has a look at this now, yeah so if I had a mac I could do an unteathered JB? I know someone with a mac who could prob do this for me but if I do this do you think i'd have problems with connection to my PC at home? Sorry for all the questions!

A tad off topic but do you guys know hy my ipod battery only lasts like 2 days on stand-by. It has only just started doing it, do you think i should re-jailbrake and see if it improves the battery life?

Again, Go to DinoZambas2. I jailbroke and unlocked my mates 3GS just now. Works a treat by the looks of things.

It's pretty simple to do... The thing is, are you sure your Unlock will stay? I suppose it should.

Yeah I was wondering I'd anyone could confirm whether it's safe for me to do without losing my unlock? I thought I better make sure first. I need to be 100% before I do it! And is this a teathered jb by the way?

Use greenpois0n for windows. It's an untethered jailbreak and works on 4.2.1. Your unlock should stay an if it doesn't just call up again and ask for it to be unlocked for free but I'm pretty sure it should stay.
