PC CPU Fan Very Loud

Hey guys..

Woke up this morning and turned on my pc and it just became very loud. My PC is usually very quiet.
Opened it up and found a fat layer of dust on the heatsink which i removed but it's still running very loud, as if it is running at full speed.

Im pretty sure its coming from the CPUs heatsink, because when i turn on the PC it runs normal for about 1 or 2 secs and then just goes mental and once it does i feel much more air being pushed out of the cpu heatsink.

Here are some stats from SpeedFan..

Does anyone know what I should do to fix this problem? Feels like im on a plane

Thanks!

you may want to check the heatsink is in place on the cpu correctly, and check for dust levels inside the computer that block the airflow

my laptop does this now and then then it stops for a while - stupid computers

Could detach and reapply the heatsink using thermal paste... see if it brings temperatures down!
Alternatively the sensor might be giving invalid readings.

If its the fan being noisy id replace the fan, don't mess about cleaning and hoping.

Thanks!

I set the BIOS settings to default and that seems to have stopped it! I guess it set the fan to run fast automatically as it was dusty and not much air could get through and once i cleaned it, it didnt set itself back..

It seems to run awfully quiet now.. maybe i just got used to the noise lol
