![]() | HDD'sI'm getting a brand new HDD tomorrow.... currently on a 40gig which will go to be my backup... getting a 120gig... what i want to do is pretty much clone EVERYTHING from the 40 onto the 120 so can run the 120 as my main... is there an easy way to do this? I tihnk somewhere mentioned clone programs but not sure... |

I know that with Western Digital you can download the Western Digital Data Lifeguard and through that one you can (if I understand it right, not done it yet myself!) transfer everything from one hard drive to the other.. you can also change which one should be the boot drive. Now, both my drives are Western Digital so I am not sure if you have one Western and one of another brand that you will be able to do it, but if they are of the same brand and not Western maybe they have something similar at their web sites?
