Anyone using Thunderbird with Hotmail?

If so maybe you could help?

I need to know why once you start using Thunderbird client instead of webmail all of a sudden Hotmail begins to store all of your inbox mail in the deleted folder on their servers?

I just logged in now to see all my messages in the deleted folder, and I believe this is having some bearing on my current problem with K9 For Pure on my Android phone, only reteiving junk messages.

Any idea whats going on here anyone, and even better how to sort it out?

I would need a bit more detail. Are the messages that are in the deleted folder already downloaded to thunderbird? Are you using pop or imap in thunderbird to access the hotmail account?
