Wesite design help

Hi all, wondering if someone can help.

This is not related to freebie sites, I'm helping my mum create her website and I need some help.

The layout she wants is based on a graphic of a book she had done for her. So this will be the page with the "tabs" of the book as links.

Like this

Now I managed to edit it in photoshop with slice so that each "tab" is a link and i've tested it and it works fine.

The prolem now is she will be writing content on the "pages" and whenever I give it a try the sliced image of the page disappears.

This is the first time I've ever tried anything like this so it is a complete learning curve for me, part of the reason I agreed to give it a go.

Tables completely confuses me so if someone could help me out by explaining how to fix the problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Rep available and perhaps this would be easier over msn so if you want to help me out pm me for my addy.

Thanks to anyone who can help
Wolf
