 | How do I create and run a Blog?I'm so embarrassed to be asking this question as it makes me sound like such a noob and I can normally work out how to do most things but ... I really can't work out how to create a blog for my website and to maintain it Please can someone provide me with some sort of walkthru of creating a blog and how to run the blog? Please help  All help is greatly appreciated |

 | There are two options which I immediately think of: 1) Use Wordpress - on any domain or server just use wordpress. more information can be found at wordpress.org. It is basically a set of files you download, then upload them to the server and it is a blog. You can update the blog from anywhere, and if you have an iTouch or iPhone they have an app  2) Buy a domain and hosting from a company which has a automatic blog setup such as http://www.one.com.  | buy a domain/hosting, then use fantastico on the hosts control panel to install wordpress. WP is pretty simple to use and you'll be there in no time.

 | Or use wordpress.com or blogger, and make a blog that way. wordpress.org is a little bit more fiddly to set up but you have more freedom, i.e have your own domain name.

| I assume you mean wordpress.com? If so log in, choose a design and start posting, its that easy.

| I use a webstie called tumblr which I thought seemed quite user-friendly. They also had the best iPhone app for posting different things on the go. Check them out as well. Glenn |

| Yeah sorry I didn't realise the original posting dates of some posts I replied to in this section. I know where to look now. Regarding the use of a custom domain their website has a help document on doing this and I did see a setting for it so I think it is possible. |
