Paypal

So I auctioned off a model last week and got £7.50 for it when trying to get it on paypal it asks for my password.

After that it asks for a number I got in the email, copied and pasted the email and it tells me that I've entered the number wrong. Any help?

There should be a confirmation code that looks something like:

1234-5678-9012-3456-7890

Copy and paste that, not the whole email

Oh, you confused me, any chance of a screenshot of the PayPal page for what it's asking you for?

Blur out anything personal of course.

No idea what's going wrong there. It's a long shot but you could try removing the dashes

Did the email with the confirmation code come from service@paypal.com?

Also is the URL of the webpage where you're entering it legit?

That's a copy and paste.

Scam methinks.

When I got mine, the email came directly from service@paypal.com

This probably means you were taken to a phishing site, if you can go to the official Paypal website and try changing your password A.S.A.P
