| Mini Mac | Microsoft Office 2003Hey guys, Am I able to uninstall Microsoft Office 2003 and install it again? I accidentally seem to have deleted some of it's registry files when I combined my "D" drive with me "C" drive! Thanks in advance.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I believe the product key is somehow connected with your motherboard when you activate it with microsoft so it should be ok to uninstall and reinstall. 3 computers should mean 3 computers, not 3 installations so if theres any problems make sure you contact MS. Now a lot of people say that, and im sure i have said it a few times in the past because it is a very effective free alternative-yet despite it being almost the same i still use MS and bought 2007. Do you actually use open office yourself?

| iBook | You could just do a repair of office. How have you deleted some of the registry files? If you had indeed deleted registry files you would be having more problems than just MS Office. Also combining drives using proper tools, should not delete anything from the registry. |

| iBook | Ah ok. Did you have it installed to your D: drive previously? and obviously now youve removed it the program files have gone. You should be able to remove it, although you may get the same error, so manul deletion would be required. Activating it shouldnt be a problem, as I think your reg code that is generated contains part of the MAC address fromt he MOBO. if it fails to activate, you can just call MS clearing house and tell them what has happend and you want to reinstall. They will help you to reactivate it without trouble. |

| iBook | I think what its saying you need to do is download the tool LISTool and run it. It should tell you where it is looking for the source files i.e. the D: drive in your case due to a regsitry entry. It may also allow you to change the location to the C: drive. If you want me to connect to you machine and try and sort it for you I will add you to MSN and you can then ask me for remote assistance |

| iBook | when you merged the 2 drives, did you lose all files on the d: drive or are they still there but located on the c: drive now? if they still physically exist I have an idea |
