| Mini Mac | I use the best of the best Its called Save2pc. It is really simple to use too. here's their website...Download videos from YouTube or Google Video to your local computer. here's some screen shots...Preview, updates, URL-parsing, multi-thread downloading. It costs something like £10 but i'm sure you'll find a..cough...serial somewhere Hope this helps, Ellie

![]() | Heya guys. I've been doing this kind of stuff for a while, and my favourite so far is YouTube Downloader - Software to download and convert YouTube video I prefer it to the others because it can detect what videos you are playing, and it has a converter to convert it to any of the video files you want or MP3, all in a matter of seconds. Don't know if it'll work for you, but it certainly does for me. |

| Mini Mac | Oh, by the way Tippy, save2pc is a converter too. You put the URL into the tool bar, then it will come up with what kind of video/music type you want

![]() | best one I've found is 'Download Helper' in Firefox (it's an add-on on the Mozilla page), downloads pretty much all media (flv, mp3, mp4 etc.) from loads of different web pages (inc. youtube, google, even myspace- good for stealing that song from someone's profile!) NB, obviously I assume you're not going to be downloading anything that you don't already own the licence to |

![]() | Download Real Player .. When you point your cursor on youtube video, top right will show - "Download this Video" .. Download it and convert the format through the aforementioned method .. |

![]() | Yeah, these methods are all good It seems that the software YouTube downloaders are faster than any others; online ones take many times longer because it has to pass through their servers etc... |
