The code changes

A /+sfgRmluamFuX1R5cGU9amF2YV9zY3JpcHQmRmluamFuX0xhbm c9dGV4dC9qYXZhc2NyaXB0+ gets added to the link!

I'm hosted with Hostgator.

Any ideas all you clever people?

It's probably being added by the website cpalead.com. They could be using some code on their side to append the extra code to the src that you've specified.

If Javascript was appending it, it wouldn't be visible in the page source unless you used the Firefox addon to view the DOM source.
