Anyone got a antistatic/ESD Wristband I could Have?

I've just bought another 2gb of RAM for my laptop which I'm gonna be installing as soon as it arrives but I'm a bit paranoid about the static and everything so was wondering if anyone has a spare/not needed ESD wristband which they could send me?

Thanks anyway, Jake

EDIT: Or does anyone know where I could find a free one?

Have a look at freecycle.org, I've heard that that's quite a good site for getting free stuff that people would otherwise throw away
(You may have to pay postage/collect it though)

You can discharge yourself by touching something thats grounded, so wear shoes with a sole, don't be in your socks; but your pc on newspaper and then touch the radiator before you work on it and you should be suitably static free.

Most modern ram is now pretty much immune to that sort of thing now anyway. however a simple way to do it is to simple put your hand on the metal part of your casing for a few moments, this does the same thing. its only the older memory that suffers from damage from it these days.

They're about a quid on ebay. In any case, you don't need one to ground yourself.
