Ok, I've just noticed on google, there's a couple of icons just appeared (today I think) next to every search listing. These are 'promote' and 'remove' - now if these do what I think they do - then that isn't good news for SEO is it?

They allow you to promote the sites you want to see at the top of your listings for you and you only
if you sign out of your google account then it just goes back to normal.

Ah! In other words I'm just having a dim moment... I'm not usually signed in and so don't see that.

And glad to hear my link building isn't going to waste lol.

Thanks Beezer!

I noticed that and was confused too, I was going to post a thread but I thought it would probably be a stupid question

Does anyone know if this is similar to "digging" or "stumbling" or "buzzing" etc, (For People Logged in to their Google Account only of course) - because it says how many other people have also promoted a site that you promote.

?
