Getting ASP working on Vista

Hi!
I am trying to get ASP working on my Vista machine...previously I have been doing it on XP. So anyway...does anyone know how to set it up. I have turned it "on" in the control panel, and now what!?
Cheers for any help

ASP is a web programming language, like PHP but microsoft's.

Never tried to run it on vista, I'm sticking to my XP for now but found these.

And what do you mean you turned it 'on' in the control panel.

Cheers. It's in programs and then turn on and off Microsoft features (or something along those lines) and then there is a box to turn ASP on!?

Very different to XP!

Which version of Vista do you have and is IIS it installed.

I briefly touched IIS when I installed vista on my laptop but my laptop really isn't good enough to run it so I uninstalled.

We shall see...give me 2 mins. I'll just test the "Hello World"

It's got a square in it?! I guess that means only part is turned on. What should I change?

click it again and it will either turn into a tick or nothing, so make sure it has a tick and voila!

Where ever you like if you set up a new virtual directory. Otherwise C:\Inetpub\wwwroot (assuming it is the same as XP).
