A few questions about High Definition

Newbie question here

I have a HDTV and hope to get a DVD player to conect to it so I shall need a HDMI(?) cable. Questions are

(1)will this cable also do the PS3 as well or will I need a separate connector.

(2)anyone with a Samsung HDTV tell me how to get the PIP (picture in picture) as it just says "not available". Does this only work once I've connected a HD Device to it?

(3) How can I get BBC HD? I have freeview and also Sky but do I need to get the Sky HD box to access this?

You can use scart with the DVD player (you can only use scart with a standard dvd player)

1) If you are looking to connect two devices via HDMI you will need either two cables or a 2 way box etc

2) Havnt got one

3) Think you need a HD sky box

I take it though you would need to take out a seperate subscription though to get the sky sports or is that included in the £10?

You have to pay £300 for the HD box. Then £42 a month for the SkySports + Movies subscription. And an extra £10 a month for HD subscription lol

We have a sky package alread so wouldnt have to spend much more on Sky but I dont think theres enough channels yet to justify the amount.
