| Mr Baldy Chicken | URL ConsolidationI have url's with a variety of providers.... what I would like to do is have them all with the same provider.... although I do not know why!! maybe just tidyness!!! I know I can change dns for example... but I am getting quite a nice collection of relevant urls, due to buy a couple more next week, once I have those, will start doing something about them!! Ideally what I will do is a freebie site guide per item, with links to the others on there too... so a single page with a uniform design, just different colours!! (bit like the freebie sites!) Of course I am open to suggestions, preferrably those that dont end with the word OFF! |

| iPod 60gb | Re: URL ConsolidationYou can transfer all your domain names to 123-Reg for free (Providing they are .uk domains) if that is what you mean.

| Call me Ben .... | Re: URL ConsolidationThat's what i did lucaio. But you got to be careful with transfer fees. I transferred domains from eclipse (which i recieved for free) to 123-reg, and it cost me £47 for 4 transfers. Needless to say i was not pleased, but it was in the t+cs so it was my fault really lol for not looking!

| MJ lady with maracas | Re: URL Consolidationaye some domain providers will charge you to leave them Personally I like to keep things seperate and just use a simple spread sheet to show me what online assets I have were and what type of asset they are. One issue is having all of your eggs in one basket, I was doing some work for a mate and I was given access to over 400 domains once, with full power to redirect them to anywere I wanted (of course im not that evil but just shows the issues of having all your eggs in one basket then someone getting your password) If you do want all your domains in one place, I would recommend namecheap.com as they offer better multiple domain management compared to others
