Alternative to Itunes Virus

Ok - since i've installed Itunes i've had nothing but bother, i'm gonna system restore to a time before itunes virus.

But i'm then stuck with how do i get stuff on and off my ipod video? Is there any other decent software out there?

this is good for backing up your ipod.. CopyTrans backup iPod music copy songs from iPod to computer wouldn't use it long term thou.. good if you need to clean start on your pc thou as it will allow you to copy everything from your ipod back to your pc.. hth

hmm - yep that does help a bit, i'm more thinking of day to day adding songs to ipod jobby though

when i had a mini i used a winamp plugin,, now i have a zen n just drag n drop

i used to love iTunes but it's messed up my usb ports - system restore to b4 itunes - puter works fine, reinstall - usb ports can only be used one at a time

itunes is the best programme ive used for music. Beats Windows media player, real and the rest of the other crap easily!

Mmm, don't want to get into an argument, and I agree that WMP and RealPlayer are crap - but itunes is not the best music software out there. If you're happy with it though, then just stick with it. Personally, I thought it was clunky bloatware, and much prefer anapod.

I buy music off itunes (got loads of vouchers for really really cheap) so even if i wanted to change i couldnt.

I've always hated itunes, use realplayer, its much better. Bak i nthe days when I used to hack my iPod, I had to fully restore the firmware several times, and partion it. This one time it was totally f4@*3d and I tried everything to get it back to normal. Some how I corrupted it. With my last hope, I plugged it into realplayer and it started fixing it! A message just popped up and it started uncoruupting the data or something.
Ever since that I have always used realplaer, its so simple as well.

Just plug your iPod in and open realplayer, it should automatically take you to the 'burn/transfer' tab and you should see your iPod there. If not, go to the drop down and select it, then you can just use the menu on the left to browse for you music and drag it all in. EASY!
